Professional Bio: Danielle started her musical career in elementary school, about 5th grade, when she picked up the flute for the first time. However, it was not her first encounter with music, as her mom was very musical so she grew up listening to her play. She continued playinh throughout middle school and high school. It was in her first few years of high school that she realized she had a talent for music. Throughout Danielle's high school years, she was involved in almost every music related activity. She participated in every ensemble her school offered and also took private lessons. She was in the pit orchestra for two of her school's musicals, The Music Man and The Wiz. Danielle also participated in marching band for all 4 years of high school. She was a section leader during her junior year and was the drum major of a 150 piece marching band her senior year. She was also invloved in PMEA and other various festivals. Danielle went to District Band for three years, District Orchestra for two years and Regional Band for two years. She participated in the PMEA adjudication festival and received the highest rating, superior. Furthermore, Danielle participated in the Susquehanna University Honors Wind Ensemble/Band festival for two years, earning first chair both years in the wind ensemble. She also travled to Rochester for the Robert's Weslyan College Honors Band where she received first chair. Danielle received two prestigious awards during high school: the Arion Award for Band and the John Philip Sousa Award. At West Chester University, Danielle is involved in the Golden Rams Marching Band, the WCU Flute ensemble and now Sigma Alpha Iota.
