Welcome to the West Chester University Philosophical Society!

The society (the philosophy club) is student-run organization, including in its general membership both graduate and undergraduate students who major or minor in philosophy, the faculty of the philosophy department and its alumni.  The philosophy club is open to any student interested in becoming an active member, regardless of major.  The society will hold events and conferences, both open to the public and interdepartmental, during the academic year.

Current members of the society hold a variety of philosophical interests including but not limited to: history of philosophy, metaphysics, ancient philosophy, phenomenology, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, philosophy of mind, ethics, aesthetics, and epistemology.

We encourage all to attend the philosophy club meetings and voice your opinions on the direction you would like to see the club go. We do not know what you want unless you make your voice heard.

SPSRSAT and Philosophy Forum are not club activities, but the club helps promote these venues of philosophical discussion.
