A 1990 graduate of West Chester University with a BS in Business Management, Kendrick returned to WCU in the summer of 1996 to assume the position of Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs. He earned his MS.Ed in 1994 from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and served as the Multicultural Affairs Coordinator at SUNY Cortland before returning "home". Kendrick is a 1988 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. , Kappa Gamma Chapter at WCU, and now serves as the faculty advisor for the chapter. Born and raised in North Philadelphia, he is a 1985 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, and is married and the father of two.
