This is a helpful checklist for when you come to the SGA Senate for recognition. Please be prepared to answer the following questions when you come to SGA’s general assembly meeting.
- Your name and year in school
- The name and purpose of your organization
- Your reason for forming this organization
- How many members/interested parties do you have?
- Have you kept financial records as long as you have been active?
- Know about how much money you will want to budget for (if you are eligible for a budget) after your one-year probationary period, OR let us know that you will be using your one-year probationary period to figure out how much money you will budget for.
- How often you meet
- Qualifications for membership/voting membership
- Report current, past and future projects and goals
- Are you looking to co-sponsor events?
- Are you affiliated with a national organization?
