What is RHA?

RHA stands for Residence Hall Association.  We are the governing body of life in the Residence Halls.  RHA allows each and every person living in the Residence Halls to have a voice in recognizing your needs as a Resident Student.  You are automatically a member of RHA just by residing in one of the nine residence halls here on campus.

Benefits to Residence Halls

RHA benefits the Residence Halls by providing funding for various recreational equipment, TV’s, decorating windows, socials, movies at the front desk, and selling treats.  We put on helpful programs and provide information regarding the campus as a whole.

Benefits to University

RHA sponsors large scale events such as Family Weekend, Spring Weekend, Sibling Weekend, The Candlelight Dinner, and we are an active participant in Homecoming.  We keep our residences informed about the different events and activities that go on around campus.

Leadership Opportunities

RHA is a great way to get involved here on campus.  Every year we leave two positions open on each of the Hall Boards so that  new students can jump start their way into student leadership.  Once your foot is in the door, the leadership opportunities from there are endless.  RHA works closely with many other organizations on campus.  We also offer countless experiences to broaden your horizons and strengthen your leadership skills.

How Do I Get Involved?

Just come to one of our meetings and check us out.  Look for announcements in the lobby of your Residence Hall or ask your RA, GA, RD or GHD.
