THE
WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY PHILOSOPHICAL SOCIETY PRESENTS:
Student Presentation
Series
The Philosophy Club coordinates the presentation of student
papers and discussions throughout the semester. This is
a great opportunity for grads and undergrads from any
department to present their work of a philosophical
nature. The Series provides a forum not only for
students to practice speaking in public, but also to benefit
from the constructive comments of fellow students.
Interested in presenting, building up your
CV? Are you writing a paper for a class and would like
an opportunity to see what others think about it? Or,
are you interested in hearing what other WCU students are
thinking and writing about? Please contact wcuphilosophicalsociety@gmail.com.
Typically, the
students will talk about or read a working paper or a finished
paper. Q&A normally follows, although the presenter may
opt for a seminar atmosphere. Beverages will
be served. All are invited to attend.
Usually two to three
presentations are offer each semester. The Society is currently seeking
student presenters (graduate or undergraduate) to fill this
slots. Proposals on any topic in philosophy will
be considered. I f you would like to present your
ideas (and we encourage you to do so), please contact wcuphilosophicalsociety@gmail.com.
