Description: The Student Government Association (SGA) is a vital organization for the campus community and serves as the liaison between the students and administration of West Chester University. As such, the SGA has the unique opportunity to provide valuable information to the WCU student body, along with serving as a platform for the views and opinions of its members. You are an automatic member of SGA once you pay your student activities fee.
The Executive Board (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, parliamentarian, and trustee), along with the 50 student senators, make up the West Chester Student Government Association. The Senate membership consists of students representing the Academic Affairs, University Advancement, and Fiscal Affairs divisions of the University as well as senators representing the various programs of student life. Students automatically have an opportunity to get involved by being elected to one of the ten at-large seats available to any student interested in student government. Elections also occur throughout the academic year to fill vacancies.
Office hours for the Executive Board are posted outside of their respective offices. Everyone is encouraged to stop in and visit to meet members or to discuss issues involving students.

Advisor: Dr. Matthew Bricketto, x3301

President: Benjamin J. Brautigam

Meeting Time and Location: The Student Government Association meets every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Sykes Union. Every WCU student is encouraged to attend.
