Description: The Latin American Student Organization (LASO) was established in 1974 by a
group of Latino students seeking cultural realization among their fellow
collegians. Since then, it has been an influential part of the University
community. The main objective of LASO is to promote unification and to create a
conducive academic, cultural, and social environment for all students on this
campus. Membership is open to all students regardless of sex, race, creed, or
national origin.
