Description: The Human Rights Coalition, The Amnesty International
West Chester University Chapter, strives to involve students in the struggle
for
justice around
the globe. Through increasing the awareness of specific ways to help
prevent human rights violations–locally, nationally, and internationally–students
acquire an active role in shaping the world in which they live. Issues,
which may seem foreign, become well within their reach. One of our
goals is to achieve fair and prompt trials for all political prisoners,
and put an end to torture and execution in all cases. Everyone is
welcome to join the fight against restrictions of human liberty.
