Description: The purpose of the Hillel Club is to meet the needs of Jewish students at West Chester University and to assist non-Jewish students in better understanding Judaism. Hillel stresses both social and religious events. Activities take place at least twice a month and have included High Holiday and Shabbat services at Temple Kesher Israel and the Reform Congregation of West Chester. Our events include: Shabbat dinners, bagel brunches, speakers, and holiday celebrations such as a Sukkot, Chanukah, and Passover. We also stress educational activities concerning Israel and other Jewish matters. We are affiliated with the Hillel of Greater Philadelphia and the B’nai Brith organization.
