Requirement to join? This national mathematics society is open to juniors who rank in the upper third of their class and have completed 18 hours of mathematics with a minimum average of 3.0. It is also open to sophomores who rank in the top quarter of their class and have completed three semesters of the calculus sequence with an average of 4.0
