Description: The Panhellenic Council is composed of the eight
national organizations (National Panhellenic Conference–NPC) represented
on campus. The council’s main function is to serve as the governing
body of these NPC groups and to be the sororities’ liaison to the
administration. The Panhellenic Council plans recruitment and helps with
chapter affairs as well as new member education. The Panhellenic Council
also aids in campus events where there is Greek participation and sponsors
various programs with the Women’s Center.
Although each sorority has a specific grade point average for affiliation,
the Panhellenic Council mandates a 2.2 cumulative grade point to affiliate
with a member sorority.
