Description: This is a nationally affiliated organization open to students majoring in early childhood education and to all students interested and concerned with the education and care of the very young. The organization’s immediate goals are to provide students with practical and informal experiences that will enhance classroom instruction. Members are entitled to a subscription to the magazine Young Children and participation in national, state, and local group events. WCAEYC is committed to holding events, such as guest speakers and community service projects, that provide a better understanding of the profession for students as well as the public.
