Description: The purpose of the Social Work Club is to develop and promote interest and activities related to the public good, strengthen the professional identity of student social workers, and reinforce and upgrade the professional role of the bachelor’s-level social worker. In addition, the group is committed to creating and maintaining a working relationship with other organizations and individuals who have an interest in social work and social activism to identify and react to current social issues that will aid in the dissemination of public welfare information to the entire student body of West Chester University. Club membership and participation are open to all students.
