Description: The Contemporary Dance Company is an organization
that provides students with the opportunity to work with faculty, guest
choreographers, and other students in the creation of new choreography.
Students will be exposed to the professional atmosphere of a dance
company through aspects of audition, vigorous rehearsals and several
performance opportunities. A full-length Fall semester performance
is given on campus as well as performances throughout the year in various
locations in which the dancers represent the University. Travel is
involved as members are expected to attend various conventions and
festivals to perform.
