Alpha Phi Philanthropy

"Philanthropy is not about the amount of money we raise every year for Camp Dream-catcher,
the time spent raising awareness for cardiac care, or the
countless hours spent doing community service. its about the sisterhood that
comes along with it. It's about the fact, that beyond just being the best of
friends, we also do the best that we can for others...
ALPHA PHI puts the PHI in
PHIlanthropy"

Teeter-Totter-a-Thon
One of our biggest philanthropy events is our annual Teeter Totter-a-Thon,
during which we teeter-totter on our chapter's own see-saw for 48 hours straight
in front of Hollinger Gym. Each sister takes a 2 hour shift. We raise money for our
Alpha Phi Foundation through sisters raising money as well through donations.  This past September we raised over $700

Greek Night Live
Greek Night Live is sponsored annually by Alpha Phi. It's the Greek version
of Saturday Night Live. Every sorority and fraternity makes up and performs a
funny skit. All skits are judged by Alpha Phi Alumni, our Sweetheart, and current leaders in the Greek Community. Money is raised by donations, raffles, and from selling tickets to watch the event.

On February 28th, we raised over $750. Thank you everyone for your support!!!

Candy Gram Sale

On Valentine's Day, our Chapter sold and delivered candy grams to students and faculty at West Chester University.

Thank you for your support! We raised over $250 for our Foundation!

West Chester Block Clean Up

As a chapter, Alpha Phi Fraternity helps keep the West Chester Community clean and trash-free.

Each spring we participate in cleaning up our Adopt-A-Block, which is 300 block of Walnut Street in West Chester.

Alpha Phi Foundation was established and adopted by the fraternity in 1956.  The Alpha Phi Foundation generously supports programs that perpetuate life long pride and loyalty among Alpha Phis, and positively impact the lives of all women. The Foundation is well known and respected internationally as a prominent leader for the Greek Community and as an important funding source of education in women’s cardiac health, leadership development and philanthropy. Alpha Phi members and friends worldwide generously donate their time and money to ensure the continuing success of the Alpha Phi Foundation.
Alpha Phi Foundation is a financially successful organization that operates with the highest ethical values. In the spirit of mutual respect and life-long membership in Alpha Phi, the Foundation funds programs that: provide leadership and educational opportunities, encourage and recognize superior scholarship, support women’s cardiac health, educate women about the value of philanthropy, and assist members in need. Alpha Phi chapters across the country raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation every year.
In 2004, Alpha Phi launched our own red dress campaign to support cardiac care for women. Alpha Phi is the first sorority to create our own foundation.

This year marks our 50th anniversary.
